How to find us in Prague?
The simplest way how to get to the Institute of Physics of the Charles University is to use the metro. On the map of Prague below, the position of the Institute of Physics is indicated by the red point. The best and quickest approach is from the station I.P.Pavlova station (red metro line C). Another possibility is to get off at the station Vyšehrad station and walk over the bridge to the other side of the valley (you will be rewarded by nice sights of Prague).

The next picture shows you how to reach us from the metro station I.P.Pavlova. Get off the metro by the first left exit and cross the Sokolská street (there is a pedestrian crossing), go up along the street and take the street on your right at the first cross-road (the Na Bojišti street). Turn left at the end of the street to join the Ke Karlovu street. Go down the street, pass a brick wall on the right side until you can see a yellow building of the Institute of Physics (No. 5) on your left.

How to reach us from different terminals

From Ruzyne airport: Take the bus no. 119 to the last stop Dejvická and change to metro Dejvická (metro line A – green). Go to the station Muzeum, change to line C (red) and go to the next station I.P.Pavlova (direction Háje). Then follow the green line on the map of the vicinity of the Institute of Physics and the description above.

From the Main railway station: Take a metro (C line – red) to the station I. P. Pavlova (direction Háje).

From the Holešovice railway station: Take a metro (C line – red) to the station I. P. Pavlova (direction Háje).

From Smíchov railway station: Take a metro (B line – yellow) to the station Florenc (direction Černý most) and then change to line C (red). Go to the station I. P. Pavlova (direction Háje).

From the bus terminal Florenc: Take a metro (C line – red) to the station I. P. Pavlova (direction Háje).
